A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
The Youth Program at Nellis AFB provides a developmentally appropriate program of the highest quality in an environment that is both nurturing and stimulating: providing program activities that meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of children through core areas of Character and Leadership development, Education and Career development, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, School Age Care, league sports and informal sports, fitness and recreation.
Youth Center
The Youth Center complex provides space for a variety of classes, social activities, child care and sporting events. Programs utilize curriculum from 4-H Cooperative Extension as well as Boys and Girls Club. Character and Leadership activities include Keystone Club for teens, and Torch Club for pre-teens. Organized league play is offered in soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, and cheerleading, while a variety of fitness activities are offered daily through Air Force Fit Factor and recreational play. Youth whose parents have an assignment to Nellis AFB can contact the program Sponsorship/Pen Pal point of contact at 702-652-9307.
School Age Program
The School Age Program at the Youth Center provides high quality before and after school care for children in grades kindergarten through 12 yrs. The School Age Program is one of only three centers in the state of Nevada accredited through the Council on Accreditation. It provides a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and have fun. The program also offers a summer camp program and provides full day care during winter and spring breaks.

Youth Sports
Programs offered through youth sports include baseball, flag football, soccer and basketball.
Club Beyond
Club Beyond is a Chapel-sponsored ecumenical Christian youth program for students 6th-12th grade. Programs include middle school and high school Bible study, regular small groups, retreats, summer/winter camp, service projects, weekly outreach activities, special events, and more. Students are welcome and invited regardless of faith background. Club Beyond is a place where friends, fun and faith connect.
