A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This  program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

Other free or low-cost options for members/families include:

  • Nellis Thrift Shop, located next to the Commissary. Open Tuesday, Thursday & every other Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sells clothing, household items and small furniture. Members may also sell items on consignment. Call 702-644-3777.
  • Airman's Attic, next to the Commissary and Thrift Shop. Open Tuesday, Thursday,& every other Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Items are available to E-1 through E-6  military members or family members. Has furniture, small appliances, household items, clothing, uniform items, toys and canned goods. Run by the Nellis 5/6 Association; any individual may volunteer or donate
