A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
The Offutt Youth Center offers programs and support in the form of sports, classes, social events, school-age programs, summer camps, specialty camps, peer counseling, and relocation/transition support. The year-round sports program includes soccer, baseball, flag-football, basketball. Classes are also offered in Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do, Piano, and Vocal. Three age categories are served: Junior, ages 5-8; Pre-Teens, ages 9-12; and Teens, ages 13-18.The center also offers a spacious state-of-the-art 27,000 square foot facility which houses two gymnasiums, two high tech computer labs, snack bar, and game/activity rooms for pre-teens and teens.
Parents must register their children and pay a membership fees of $100 annually or $20 monthly.

Offutt's Youth Programs Through the Youth Program, children and teens at Offutt AFB can access sports, classes, social events, school-age programs, summer camps, specialty camps, peer counseling, youth diversion and relocation/transition support for youth ages 5 to 18 years old. Parents must register their children and pay an annual $30 Membership fee and a $15 Summer only fee. Classes are also offered in gymnastics and martial arts. Youth Sponsorship ProgramThe Youth Center offers a Youth Sponsorship Program, where incoming youth are matched to the interested Offutt youth in their age group, and letters are exchanged. This is a great way to learn about your new duty station prior to your arrival. Youth EmploymentThere is an expansive variety of employment opportunities for teens in the Omaha Metro Area.alrea. Individuals can start working at the age of 14 in Nebraska. Nebraska Hour Restrictions for 14 and 15 year olds limit them to working No more than 8 hours in one day. No more than 48 hours in one week. Youth CenterThe Offutt Youth Center building 5085 offers a comprehensive program of organized activities for children in three age categories: junior ages 5 to 8, pre-Teens ages 9 to 12 and Teens ages 13 to 18. Hours and activities vary by season and school year. Youth Center programs are designed for different age groups for example the seniors have activities for their age group only.
