Temporary Housing

Offutt’s Air Force Inns manages 13, 3-bedroom temporary lodging units from Rising View, in the Capehart military housing area. Each unit is fully furnished and has Wi-Fi, and cable. Since the number of personnel making permanent change of station moves in or out can exceed the number of TLFs available, be sure to make reservations well ahead of your arrival especially during the peak transition months of May through October.

**there are a limited number of options for accommodations with pets so make these reservations as soon as possible**

In accordance with Air Force Manual 34-135, guests must provide a valid credit card at the time of check-in.

All guests checking in using a credit card will sign the guest registration form that advises them that lodging is authorized to apply any unpaid charges to their credit card.

All visiting quarters long-term guests, whether paying by cash, check or credit card, must return to the front desk at the 15-day mark to verify and pay their lodging bill. Guests paying by cash or check will pay in advance for their remaining days of occupancy. Guests paying by credit card will have their credit card processed for charges incurred over the past 15 days.

Lodging has four Temporary Lodging Facility units designated to accept pets under the following circumstances:

• We will only accept cats and dogs (with a maximum of two pets).
• There will be a $10 per night pet fee in addition to your normal room charges. There may be additional cleaning fees assessed if your pet damages furniture or defecates and/or urinates in the room.
• You must secure your pet in the pet cage provided or in your own pet container whenever you leave your pet unattended.
• Do not leave the "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door when you are not in your TLF unit. We will enter your room daily for housekeeping.
• Pets must be properly immunized, and you must present your pets’ shot records upon check-in.
• Pets are not allowed to sit directly on furniture or bedding.
• Owners may not use lodging towels or linens to bathe pets.
• If your dog continually barks and disturbs other guests, you may be asked to kennel your dog off base.
• Owners are required to pick up and clean up their pet's waste and dispose of it properly.
• Infraction of the rules may result in removal of you and your pet from lodging.

Each guest staying in one of our pet-friendly TLF units will be required to sign a Guest Pet Policy Agreement upon check-in. If you are unable to reserve one of the pet-friendly TLF units, Temporary Lodging offers a list of local kennels.

To assist as many people as possible, the maximum lengths of stay in our Temporary Lodging Facilities are as follows:

• Inbound and outbound personnel may be allowed to stay for no longer than 30 days. Stays beyond the limit are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Personnel planning to arrive at Offutt Air Force Base are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible to increase their chances of obtaining temporary quarters. Reservations can be made by calling:

Reservations at Offutt’s Air Force Inns can be made up to 120 days in advance and prior to receiving PCS orders. Reservations must be reconfirmed three days prior to your arrival and will be canceled at 6 p.m. on the check-in date unless guaranteed with a credit card.

This is a no-smoking facility. Any guest found smoking in one of our rooms will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.

Transportation to Lodging

If you arrive by taxi, keep the taxi while you check in because some of the lodging rooms are not located at this facility, and you will need transportation to them.

Hours of Operation

Check-in is between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., customers arriving after business hours will be given a key code to access their keys and registration forms in the lock boxes inside the front entrance of the facility.
