A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
The School-Age Program provides care for children ages 5 to 12 before and after school, on school holidays and during summer vacation. Our program is accredited through the Council on Accreditation (CoA) and provides quality care for children of active duty military, DOD and NAF civilians, Reservists and base contractors. We promote an enriching environment by meeting the social, cognitive, physical and developmental needs of school-age youth. Fees are based on total family income. The Youth Center offers van transportation on an as needed, space available basis each school term from insert schools for an additional fee. KIDS NIGHT OUT
Join us each quarter as we celebrate the many achievements of our youth. A special recognition ceremony is held that highlights the achievements in the areas of education, fitness, character education and more!
OPEN RECREATION
The Youth Center is open for recreational activities each afternoon for preteens and teens, Monday through Friday after school from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Self-directed areas offer pool tables, ping-pong, computers, video games, TV, and a Teen Lounge. Youth Center members have unlimited access to these areas during operational hours. Guests may accompany a member for a fee only once.
KEYSTONE / TEEN COUNCIL
Keeping Every Youth Strongly Tuned in On National Excellence. This youth advisory program encompasses community service, leadership and social development. This group, the heart of Robin’s teen programs, meets each Friday for youths ages 14 to 18 (13 year olds may be Jr Keystone members or may join Torch).
Network of teens working to resolve issues, provide suggestions on improving quality of life for teens and voice concerns to base senior leadership on behalf of teens residing at Robins AFB and local communities. Council meets each Friday at 5:30 pm. Students ages 13-18 (if 18 still in high school) are eligible to participate in this program.
TORCH CLUB
Small-group youth leadership and service club for members ages 9 to 12 years old. Club staff can help meet the needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage of their development. Check our monthly calendar for meeting dates and times.
KARATE
Youth Programs offers instructional karate classes for youth ages 3 – 18. Classes are taught by certified instructors with years of experience. Stop by the Youth Center for class details.
TEEN POWER HOUR
Helps teens (ages 13 and up) by providing homework assistance and tutoring. Computers are available. A free healthy snack is offered to all participants. This program operates Monday through Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m. Homeschoolers are welcome!
FINE ARTS
Youth ages 9 to 18 meet once a week to experience a variety of artistic media such as art, music and drama.
Robins AFB Youth Center offers something for everyone between the ages of 5 and 18. The youth center has a full size game room with a big screen television, gaming area, and snack bar. There is also a gym, computer lab, teen room, soccer fields, outdoor basketball court and more.

COOKING CLASSES
Come cook up some of your favorite recipes. Preteens and teens learn everything from proper food reparation to making delicious snacks and meals using the Food Guide Pyramid. Check our monthly calendar for meeting dates and times – this is a free event!

Youth Sports
Robins Youth Services does not offer recreational sports on the installation. We encourage families to contact the local Parks and Recreation Department within their city/county.

Employment is limited for teens on base and is based on program funding. The Employment Assistance Program at the Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) can assist with providing employment information. The teen may contact the M&FRC at 478-926-1256 or DSN 468-1256."
