Child Care

To receive childcare in either the Child Development Centers or School-Age Center, your child(ren) must be placed on the waitlist and registered with Child & Youth Services (CYS). To place your child(ren) on the age-appropriate waitlist, please visit militarychildcare.com (MCC.com). On MCC.com, you will set up your account and provide all information for each parent and child. MCC.com will then determine your placement priority. To obtain registration forms and to register your child(ren) with CYS, please visit the CYS WebTrac page on the Grafenwoehr MWR website at www.grafenwoehr.armymwr.com or email CYS Parent Central Services at usarmy.bavaria.imcom-fmwrc.list.cyss-info@army.mil. Registration is FREE.

Items Needed for Registration for each child:

• Copy of Orders
• Current Immunization Record
• Health Assessment/ Sports Physical
• LES, Pay Stub, or other proof of Income (used to determine the Family Fee Category)
• Family Care Plan (for Single and Dual-Military families)
• Two (2) Local Emergency Contacts and phone numbers

USAG Bavaria-Grafenwoehr CYS has three Child Development Centers (CDC) located in the Tower Barracks (Grafenwoehr), Netzaberg, and Rose Barracks (Vilseck) communities. All CDCs are certified by the Department of Defense. CDCs provide care for children between the ages of 6 weeks thru Pre-School. Currently, the Tower Barracks CDC is undergoing renovations and is temporarily closed. All CDCs offer Full-Day, Part-Day, Part-Day Pre-School, Hourly Care, and Strong Beginnings. Strong Beginning is a Pre-Kindergarten program for children entering Kindergarten the following school year.

Family Child Care (FCC) is in-home child care for ages 6 weeks-Pre-School. Care takes place inside the home of the provider, who is trained and operates under CYS policies and regulations. FCC offers Full-Day and Part-Day care.

USAG Bavaria-Grafenwoehr CYS has two School-Age Centers (SAC) located in the Netzaberg and Rose Barracks (Vilseck) communities. The SAC programs offer before and after school care, seasonal and holiday break care, hourly care, and care during school-out days. The SAC programs are for children between the grades of Kindergarten thru 5^th Grade.

USAG Bavaria-Grafenwoehr CYS has two Youth Centers located in the Netzaberg and Rose Barracks (Vilseck) communities. The Youth Centers service youth in grades 6-12. The Youth Centers have a wide range of programs offering fun-filled afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Free programs are offered daily after school and in the afternoons on school-out days. Morning camps are offered at a nominal fee during the summer to complement the free afternoon program. There are special activities for youth scheduled on a continual basis, including social activities and field trips. CYS programs utilize partnerships with 4-H Clubs, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and Character Counts to bring enhanced curriculum and other opportunities for growth and development to our children and youth. Programs are intended to offer positive alternatives that will minimize "at risk" behavior during parental duty hours.
