Temporary Lodging Facilities:

Temporary Lodging Facilities offer clean, comfortable, modern lodging arrangements for eligible personnel and their guests. Guest rooms are equipped with all the amenities of home, including a telephone, free internet access, cable television, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, an in-room safe and an iron and ironing board. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

Army Lodging Grafenwoehr is located in Building 619 on Tower Barracks, close to the German community of Grafenwoehr. Army Lodging Vilseck (formerly Kristall Inn) is located on Rose Barracks, Vilseck, in Building 275. Grafenwoehr facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and both facilities offer a free continental breakfast.

Registration will take place at the time of check-in.

Eligibility/Orders

Permanent change of station both in and out, temporary duty assignment military and civilians, unofficial travel and retirees are eligible. Availability needs to be checked at the time of placing a reservation.

Costs

The room rates at the Army Lodging Grafenwoehr (Tower Barracks) are as follows:

• Standard Room – Room rates will be based at Per Diem.
• Extended Stay -- Room rates will be based at Per Diem.
• Family Suite – Room rates will be based at Per Diem

The room rates at Army Lodging Vilseck (Rose Barracks) are as follows:

• Standard Room – Room rates will be based at Per Diem.
• Extended Stay -- Room rates will be based at Per Diem.
• Family Suite – Room rates will be based at Per Diem

Maximum length of stay

The maximum length of stay is determined by room availability, duration of exercise, and housing availability. Call the lodging facility for further details.

Pets

Cats and dogs are welcome at Army Lodging Grafenwoehr and Army Lodging Vilseck. The additional cost is $10 per day per pet, and there is a one-time cleaning fee of $50 as well. Contact the lodging facility for more information if you are bringing a pet, as pets are only allowed in certain rooms. A list of local kennels is available upon request.

Check-In

Check-in is at 3 p.m. Leisure travel is on a space-available basis.

Grafenwoehr and Vilseck billeting offer comfortable rooms and suites located within walking distance of restaurants, bowling centers, clubs and other Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities. Pet-friendly rooms are available. Make reservations for temporary lodging as soon as you receive orders. When space is not available, the installation lodging office will provide information on where additional space (contract quarters) with good rates may be available. Payments are required at the time of check-in.
