Legal assistance is available to you and your family. Below, you’ll find information about claims and installation specific programs and services. If you have questions, reach out to the legal assistance program at your installation.
The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate is located in Suite 203 of Building 509 on Spirit Boulevard. Services offered daily through the Legal Assistance Program include notary services and preparation of powers of attorney, wills, state and federal taxation, domestic relations and other legal matters.
Claims assistance is available for people with household goods loss and damage claims. Active-duty members and their families and retired military members and their families are eligible for these services.
Legal assistance is available by appointment at the base Legal Office. For more information or to make an appointment, call 660-687-6809. Appointments are available Tuesday 0800-1100 and Thursday 1300-1600.
If there is an issue with which the Legal Office cannot assist you, there are many local lawyers who are well versed in military issues and work very well with our base Legal Office. Because there are so many lawyers in the local area, we suggest that you talk to someone who can give you a referral or conduct an online search.
