• Force Support Squadron offers numerous indoor and outdoor recreational facilities and clubs.
• Commissaries – There is one, in Area F.
• Exchange System – The Main Exchange and the Shoppette are in Area F; the Furniture, Four Seasons and Shoppette are in Area One.
• Aviano has one bank and one credit union available -- Community Bank and Global Credit Union. Aviano has ATMs located in Area F (Flightline) and Area One where you can withdraw either U.S. dollars or euros.

Non-command-sponsored dependents of active-duty military members stationed overseas can be enrolled in a Department of Defense Dependents School on a space-available basis, tuition-free.

Space availability is determined by the school principal, and part of that determination includes any special education needs the child may have. If there are special education requirements, the principal may deny the enrollment if the school does not have the resources available to meet the student's special education needs in full.

Members may request an extension to their Report Not Later Than Date if the medical condition that precludes command sponsorship is temporary and will be resolved.

Non-command-sponsored personnel will not have full privileges.
