Health care services provided by the War Department are available to you and your family at your installation. We know that finding the right health care is important, especially in special circumstances such as emergency or during recent move. Here, you’ll find information and options about the services you have regarding healthcare.
The 90th Medical Group cares for the medical and dental needs of military members and their families. Twenty-four hour walk-in care is no longer available and there are no inpatient services. The clinic is located in building 160. The Veterans Administration Medical Center Cheyenne offers preventive and wellness examinations for TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries, 18 years or older, and active duty females.

Filling prescriptions while traveling

Getting dental care while traveling
Getting dental care while traveling depends on your location and whether you are a service member or family member.

Specialty and ancillary services include:
24-hour walk-in care is not available and there are no inpatient services. There is a 24-hour Nurse Advice Line that can be contacted at 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273).
F. E. Warren Air Force Base does not have an emergency room. Therefore, all emergency care is directed to the closest emergency room. If you have a life-threatening emergency, dial 911 immediately.
Pharmacy and Dental Clinics
The F.E. Warren Air Force Base Medical Clinic has both a full-service pharmacy and full-service dental clinic and both are located in Building 160. The dental clinic is for active-duty military only. The Veterans Administration Medical Center Cheyenne offers preventive and wellness examinations for TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries 18 years or older and active-duty females. The examination includes, but is not limited to, pap smears and breast exams. Active-duty patients are required to receive a referral from their primary care manager before an appointment will be arranged.
