If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
If you should encounter an emergency en route contact your gaining command Commanding Officer or the closest Naval installation. You may contact the American Red Cross at the Military Personnel line toll free at 877-272-7337. For information and referral you can call Fleet and Family Support Center Guam at 671-333-2056/57 or call the Guam Operator at 411 from a Guam phone. If an emergency does arise while on Guam contact 671-339-4357/117.
American Red Cross (ARC) Guam
You may contact the American Red Cross to get an emergency message to your family. Guam's office has limited hours Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The office number is 671-472-6217. After hours, please use the toll free line for military personnel. You may also contact the American Red Cross Military Personnel line toll free at 877-272-7337.
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS)
NMCRS can provide emergency and financial assistance through loans or grants to service members or their spouse. Assistance is based on client's needs and emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. NMRCS is located at 39 Hibiscus Drive BLDG 472 on Naval Base Guam; for more information call 671-564-1879. For after hours emergent assistance, please call 671-727-5559.

Salvation Army
The Family Service Center is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. They also provide a thrift store. For more information call 671-477-9872.
