A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The Relocation Office at the Fleet and Family Support Center Guam offers hospitality kits that are items on loan for 45 days, longer if necessary, to military members or their families. The kits include pots and pans, dishes, utensils, irons and ironing boards, and small appliances. These kits are available to families and sailors PCS'ing in and out of Guam whether living on or off base. Call FFSC Guam at 671-333-2056/57, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Navy Housing also offers a complete set of loaner furniture or "boonie furniture" as it is commonly called on Guam. This includes beds, tables, chairs, lamps, microwaves, washers, dryers, etc. For more information call Housing at 671-333-2081/82; Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
To use the loaner Hospitality Kit, call FFSC Guam, 671-333-2056/57, to schedule an appointment. Please bring your ID and a copy of your orders. The Relocation staff will let you decide what you need and help you fill out the appropriate paperwork.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
NMCRS is located at 39 Hibiscus on Naval Base Guam. All military card holders are allowed to shop their thrift store. They carry gently used items such as household goods, books, toys, baby items, shoes, uniforms, and much more.
The NMCRS Thrift Store is run solely by volunteers and the hours in which the store is open depends on the availability of volunteers. Please call NMCRS 671-564-1879 for more information and current hours of operation.
