Government housing is owned and maintained by the Department of Defense and is typically on the installation. All Navy Family Housing in Navy Region Northwest is under Public/Private Venture (PPV) contract. The Navy has formed a partnership with Hunt Military Communities to provide this service. Average waiting times for military family housing vary depending on the season of the year and deployment factors.

Housing is available for single active duty permanent party residents. The target population for these living quarters is active duty E-4 and below. There are three buildings offering living space for 516 Sailors, and our apartment-style complex that opened in 2009 has 504 additional spaces. These rooms include fully-equipped kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, closets, and washers and dryers. The Pacific Northwest strives to have all junior enlisted personnel housed in Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Buildings and provide finest quality services and accommodations while on tour of duty in the great Northwest. Unaccompanied Housing mission is to provide them with a "Home away from home." They want to ensure all junior enlisted personnel has safe, clean, secure and comfortable accommodations. Unaccompanied Housing's Primary residents are E1-E4 Single Sailor Personnel. Check-in is at the Front desk in Bldg. 2029, 2000 West Marine View Drive, Naval Station Everett. They are a 24/7 operation and can be reached at 425-304-3111 or DSN 727-3111. Only Single Sea Duty E4 with more than 4 years and Single Shore Duty E4 Sailors may submit a request for Basic Allowance for Housing. The base CO has the final approval for BAH request, but it is contingent on full utilization of the UH (at least 95% occupied). They do not accommodate Transient Personnel and for Transient room requirements (TAD, space "A," etc.)Navy Lodge must be contacted.

Navy Region Northwest Housing Service Centers (HSC) offers a wide range of services including personal referral counseling, home finding services and house listings, and landlord/tenant resolution services.
