Special and Critical Installation Information

  • Hurricanes and Tropical Storms are a fact of life in Florida, and can cause devastating effects. Hurricane Season begins on June 1, and runs through November 30, but, sometimes Tropical Storms and Hurricanes can develop as early May. Hurricane Preparednes is a must for Florida residents (It saves lives, property and time). BE INFORMED, MAKE A PLAN and BUILD an EMERGENCY KIT.  NS Mayport does the best to keep residents aware of pending hurricane conditions; visit NS Mayport's facebook page for current updates, and stay tune to local news for the latest information concerning news and weather reports.
