Navy Housing is committed to assisting military members and their families with finding suitable, affordable, and safe housing. Navy Housing achieves this objective by providing access to several types of housing.
Military Families can use the support of their local Housing Service Center to find Government Owned, Privatized and Community Housing.
Navy Housing Referral Services Program
The Navy is committed to supporting both Single Sailors as well as those with Families by providing high-quality referral services as they execute their Permanent Change of Station to their new duty stations.
The goal of the HRS program is to assist service members and their families in locating suitable, affordable and safe housing at their duty station. NS Mayport Housing Service Center provides a full suite of referral services to all service members and families to support their relocation, moving within the same duty station or help with any housing issues during their tour of duty.
Navy Housing's Rental Partnership Program
The Rental Partnership Program is an agreement between the Housing Service Center and community housing landlords and is designed to provide service members with suitable and affordable off-base housing and aid in defraying some of the costs incurred by relocation. Housing units which are offered in the RPP are evaluated, inspected and qualified to meet the highest standards by the Navy HSC. The RPP is available to both families and unaccompanied service members.
Tenant Eligibility and Requirements
Generally, all full-time active duty service members married or single and who are drawing BAH are eligible to participate in RPP.
To get started with finding properties in the RPP, the service member should come to the HSC with their orders, Leave and Earnings Statement, and a copy of their page 2 to be properly counseled on their eligibility and requirements.
