CYP provides the staff, equipment, and playing areas necessary to facilitate the athletic and recreational development of children.
There are team sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading and flag football offered at different times during the year. There are also individual participation challenges such as 1k-3k fun runs, mini-triathlons, swimming events and fitness clinics throughout the year. Each season, the upcoming team sport sign up is advertised for three weeks. Following a skills assessment, players are divided into teams which are chosen to be as fair and equal as possible regarding age and skill levels.
