Loan Closet Overview

A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This  program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

The Spangdahlem M&FRC offers a Loan Locker Program that provides “ready‑made” dish kits (2‑, 4‑, or 6‑person sets) to help you as you settle into your home while awaiting your Household Goods delivery or prior to leaving. Each kit includes essential items such as dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. Dish kits may be borrowed for up to 30 days. To check out a kit, please visit Bldg. 307 and bring a copy of your PCS orders.

There is also an Airmen's Attic and Thrift Store located at the Community Commons, Bldg. 441, which have various house hold good items as well as 220 voltage devices to support the transition to Europe.
