Contact information for key programs and services at this installation.
Health care services provided by the Defense Department are available to you and your family at your installation. We know that finding the right health care is important, especially in special circumstances such as emergency or during recent move. Here, you’ll find information and options about the services you have regarding healthcare.
Health Medical Services
There is no Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) on Camp Darby.
Active Duty Air Force Members have access to two Air Force IDMTS for limited medical services during business hours, DSN: 632-9811. In order to complete medical readiness checks, some services can be done remotely, or active-duty soldiers and airmen can potentially be seen on a “low-priority” walk-in/space available basis at Vicenza or Aviano depending on the situation.
All other medical care is provided by the local Italian clinic, Casa di Cura San Rossore or the local hospitals. Patient Liaisons are available to assist with translation services during your appointment.
Family members are NOT able to be seen for medical care at Aviano or Vicenza except in particular circumstances, such as the Vaccination clinic.
There are also local options for dental and vision. Please contact the Patient Liaisons for more details.
For appointment scheduling and/or other information, such as the new TRICARE MYCARE overseas app, contact the Patient Liaison team at the following e-mail: darbypatientliaison@army.mil or by phone: DSN 645-8255 or civilian+39 050 9658255 please call during business hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. To speak to a Patient Liaison after hours or in an emergency, call the on-call number: +39 3358326778.
When you move, TRICARE moves with you. No matter where you go in the world, TRICARE is there before, during and when you get to your next duty station.
There are steps you need to take to make sure changes to your TRICARE coverage go smoothly. Understand that when you move, you may have to use a different TRICARE option. Visit TRICARE Moving to learn more.
Before you move, you should take care of any routine medical needs, including immunizations, and fill your prescriptions so you have enough while traveling. If you need care during your move, visit TRICARE Getting Care When Traveling to learn what to do.
