Middle School Teen (MST) Program

The Middle School Teen (MST) Program is designed for youth 6th -12th grade to be able to attend once released from school. Conveniently located next to the middle and high school, youth can walk over and partake in array of activities to include clubs that promote leadership, citizenship, and community service along with sports & fitness activities, art activities, and more! The MST program has a dedicated Homework Lab that allows youth the opportunity to complete assignments with resources and textbooks directly from their school.
The MST program is a free program that provides free snacks to participants in accordance with CYS health and nutrition standards. The centers use an a la carte menu and youth are allowed to choose healthy and less healthy snack options that fall within our nutritional guidance. Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the center because we want to ensure all food and beverages are within the guidelines and are not allergy hazards.
Trips and adventures are offered at the MST program at either free or low-rate prices that include but are not limited to ski/snowboard trips, overnight trips during spring & winter break, and more!

Sports and Fitness Programs provide team sports, individual sports, fitness and health programs and, programming at Child Development Centers, School Age and Youth Programs. Pre-registration is required for Sports and Fitness Programs. Children and youth that are currently registered in CYS can be enrolled in Sports and Fitness using WebTrac.

SKIESUnlimited offers a Spring, Summer, and Fall catalog which features an array of activities that include but are not limited to fashion design, around the world cooking, dance, karate, and more! The catalog can be found online or in-person at SKIES.
SKIES Unlimited stands for “School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills” with the word “Unlimited” for the unlimited possibilities that this program provides children and youth:
Children and Youth that are currently registered in CYS may be able to enroll for some of the SKIES classes using WebTrac.
A special need could include special diet due to a food allergy, an inhaler due to asthma, a speech delay, physical or emotional disability, and/or other medical diagnoses. During the registration process, parents fill out a health-screening tool to disclose any special need for each child to help CYS determine if any special consideration needs to be made to ensure the safety of the child/youth while in CYS care or programs. It is the goal of CYS to reasonably accommodate individuals with special needs in order to help them integrate into the program.
