Financial Assistance

The Financial Readiness Program promotes Soldier and Family financial readiness, provides consumer and financial readiness classes and assists in resolving consumer complaints. FRP offers:

• Classes on personal finance,  budgeting and savings, banking and credit union, using credit wisely and  home buying
• Consumer information and education
• Budget counseling and debt liquidation
• Information on investments, Individual Retirement Account, Thrift Savings Plan, Savings Deposit Program

Since cost of living is relatively high in the Vicenza area, settling in can be expensive. It is important to plan ahead. A two- to three-month rent deposit may be required on a private rental. Know your entitlements!

Army Emergency Relief can meet unforeseen travel and related expenses such as pet transportation,  auto repair/maintenance, when applicable, due to extraordinary costs involved with permanent change of station moves.

Allowances

During Soldier’s in-processing at Central Processing Facility (CPF) in Building 393 on Caserma Ederle, the Finance - in/out processing office, telephone 0444-71-5142/3 will explain Soldier’s eligible entitlements while stationed in USAG Italy such as COLA, TLA, and OHA.
