There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. After duty hours, on weekends and holidays, please contact 1-877-272-7337 or go to https://www.redcross.org/get-help/military-families/financial-assistance.html for immediate assistance. The American Red Cross maintains emergency message services and coordinates financial assistance through these relief societies.
Army Emergency Relief is available at Army Community Service Center, Building 2915, 2nd Floor (Panzer Kaserne). AER can provide financial assistance for a variety of conditions/situations (i.e., travel, auto repairs, and housing expenses) when the need arises. If an emergency should occur while you are in transit to Stuttgart, contact your nearest military installation. If there is no military installation in the area contact the American Red Cross 1-877-272-7337 or local hospital depending on the nature of the emergency. Make sure you have your sponsor's name and contact number with you as you travel as well as the Stuttgart military community telephone operator +49 9641-70-592-1140 and the Military Police desk, 0049-9641-70-596-3102/3095.
