Youth Sponsorship Program

Youth Sponsors

Youth sponsors connect with children before arrival at a new duty station, provide them with information about their new communities and answer questions from a youth perspective – while being guided by adults in the CYS youth program and the schools. Youth sponsors typically arrange community and school tours once their assigned newcomers arrive.

Please reach out to the USAG Stuttgart School Liaison Office (SLO) to request a youth sponsor.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Children interested in getting to know the community, making new friends and helping other people may find great value in volunteering on the Garrison. Stuttgart organizations are always looking for helpful, friendly and dedicated volunteers. For more information contact the Army Volunteer Coordinator at the Community and Family Support Center, ACS.

Youth Sports Information

Child and Youth Services (CYS) organizes most sports for children who have not yet entered high school. 

Sports and Fitness Programs provide team sports, individual sports, fitness and health programs and, programming at Child Development Centers, School Age and Youth Programs. Pre-registration is required for Sports and Fitness Programs. Children and youth that are currently registered in CYS can be enrolled in Sports and Fitness using WebTrac. Please note that a sports-specific physical must be completed annually.
