The American Red Cross, Ansbach Station is available to provide an emergency communication service to the service member and their family. Army Emergency Relief
AER can help with emergency financial needs for food, rent, utilities, emergency transportation and vehicle repair, funeral expenses, medical/dental expenses, and personal needs when pay is delayed or stolen, and more. Assistance is given in the form of an interest-free loan, grant, or part loan and part grant. AER provides financial assistance to eligible soldiers and their dependents.

Passport/Visa Problems
If you are having problems with your passport upon entry into Germany, please call your unit first, then the Consulate General of the United States in Munich at 011-49-89-2888-0 from the United States, or +49 (0)89-2888-0 within Germany. If you need a new passport, you can apply for one at the Ansbach Personnel Division Passport Office in Building 5818, or call DSN: 314-587-1813 or Commercial: +49 (0)611 143 5871813.
