Army Community Service is the Military and Family Support Center for USAG Ansbach. In addition to services available to all Military and Family Members, ACS offers its branch specific A-Programs.
Army Family Team Building. Learn how to improve your personal relationships and communication and stress-management skills. Discover how teams form and grow, how to solve problems, and how to resolve personal conflict. You’ll also learn about Army traditions, customs, courtesies and protocol, decipher Army acronyms, utilize community resources, attain better financial readiness, and understand the goal and impact of the Army mission on daily life, and learning to mentor others into leadership positions.
Take the training online, or arrange training with a group of your peers and your ACS Program Coordinator.
Army Family Action Plan. Your platform to voice quality-of-life issues, feedback, ideas, and suggestions. It’s the best way to let Army leadership know what works, what doesn’t, and how you think problems can be resolved. It gives active- and reserve-component Soldiers, Army Civilians, retirees, survivors, and Family members a powerful tool to help identify issues and concerns and shape the Army standard of living. Submit your issue through the Issue Management System portal.
Don't know how you can raise an issue. These tutorials will show you how to navigate the Issue Management System portal.
Army Volunteer Corps. This program provides opportunities for service members, Civilians, Family members, and retirees to volunteer with nonprofit organizations and support their local communities. Utilize the Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS) to apply for volunteer opportunities, record and track volunteer hours, and manage the volunteer service record. VMIS is accessible from a computer or your mobile device.
