The Tuition Assistance (TA) Program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty civilian education programs in support of a Soldier's professional and personal self-development goals. TA is a Public Law that is implemented by Department of Defense (DoD) Directive and DoD Instruction, and all Soldiers (officers, warrant officers, enlisted) on active duty, Army National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers on active duty, and TPU Soldiers are authorized to participate in the TA program. For Soldiers wanting to utilize TA mandatory training for ArmyIgnitED is held every Thursday by the Education Center at 13:00 in Room 248 Bldg. 5817C.
Post-9/11 GI Bill (Transfer of Benefits)
Active-duty service members can transfer unused GI Bill benefits to their spouse and/or dependents. The Post-9/11 GI Bill covers tuition, fees, and a monthly housing allowance if the spouse/dependent is enrolled at least half-time. To transfer the benefits the service member must have at least six years of service and commit to four more. Spouse/dependents must be enrolled in DEERS. Services members must initiate the transfer on milConnect.
My Career Advancement Account (MYCAA) Scholarship Program
The MYCAA Scholarship is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to eligible military spouses for the pursuit of a license, certification or associate degree or for continuing education courses to maintain a license or certification necessary for employment. Spouses of active-duty service members and spouses of National Guard and reserve service members on Title 10 orders in pay grades E-1 through E-9, W-1 through W-3 and O-1 through O-3, and Spouses who have completed high school or obtained a GED are eligible.

Provides scholarships for degree, certifications, and professional licenses.
ThanksUSA Scholarship
Offers $3,000 scholarships for military spouses and dependents.
Pat Tillman Foundation Scholarship
Scholarships for military spouses pursuing higher education.

Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA/Chapter 35)
Provides up to 36 months of education benefits for spouses of 100% disabled or deceased veterans. The assistance covers degree programs, certifications, and some on-the-job training.
While in Europe, you are not able to collect unemployment benefits.
