Programs and services are available at most installations for children up to age 12. Care may be provided in Child Development Centers, School Age Care Programs, and Family Child Care Homes. Please review the information to find out what programs and services are available at this installation. COL Hess Child Development Center is in Bldg. 5410 on Taro Ave. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 0530-1800. Closed on weekends, CYS training holidays, and approved holidays. The programs offer the following care types: full day care for infants, pretoddlers, toddlers, preschool, Strong Beginnings, before and after care for kindergarteners, and hourly care. Our specialized and trained staff have a strong educational foundation for early childhood practices and theories.
Our staff ensures all children receive the proper nurturing, respect and social interaction skills, regardless of family background, race, gender or culture. We give our children the opportunity to make friends, to explore and to experiment through a variety of play activities. The CDCs are accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); a distinction received by less than 10% of all day care centers across the nation.
Eligible patrons include Active-Duty military personnel, Guard/Reserve on Active Duty or Inactive Duty Training Status, DoD Civilian Personnel paid from both appropriated funds (APF) and non-appropriated funds (NAF), Retirees and other on-post employees are eligible on a space available basis. Priority is given to Single and Dual Military/DA civilians, then to the military member/DA civilian with a working spouse then to all other eligible categories. We do not provide care to Korean military, KN employees, bank employees or AAFES employees unless bank or AAFES employee is a spouse of an active-duty military or DoD civilian.
Registration -- Parent Central Services is located in Maude Hall, Bldg 6400. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday from Noon – 5 p.m. Appointments are highly encouraged. Patrons wishing to complete a walk-in registration may experience extended wait times. Parent Central is closed on weekends and approved holidays.
Services for payments, instructional programs and Youth Sports & Fitness enrollments, document updates, wait list inquiries and general information is available during all business hours. Annual Registration is FREE. Call DSN 757-2250/2254/2255 for an appointment or begin your registration by going to Webtrac at https://webtrac.mwr.army.mil/#page-0 and selecting CYSS and then Korea. Please contact our office if you need a new password or need to re-set your password.

If your child has a medical condition that requires medication or accommodation, the Multi Inclusion Action Team (MIAT) will determine the best possible care for your child. Additional forms may be required.
CPT Jennifer M. Moreno School Age Center is in Bldg. 5230 on Tropic Lightening Road. Hours of operation are as follows:
Grades 1-4 School Days: Monday, Wednesday - Friday, 5:30 a.m.–7:10 a.m. and 2:10 p.m.–6 p.m. Tuesdays are early release days from school. Hours are 5:30 a.m.–7:10 a.m. and 1:10 p.m.-6 p.m. Non-School Days: Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Closed on weekends, CYS training holidays, and approved holidays. For Grade 5 School Days: Monday, Wednesday - Friday, 5:30 – 8:10 a.m. and 3:05 p.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesdays are early release days from school. Hours are 5:30-8:10 a.m. and 2:05-6 p.m.. Non-School Days: Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Closed on weekends, CYS training holidays, and approved holidays.
CPT Jennifer M. Moreno School Age Center’s mission is to promote quality of life by supporting Army readiness. SAC provides affordable before and after school care, summer camps and full-day programming on non-school days to include winter and spring breaks for eligible children in 1st thru 5th grade. USAG Humphreys SAC is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation. This accreditation assures parents of a commitment to responsive and loving care, trained and competent staff, a safe and healthy environment, and consistent program improvement and quality.
