All newly assigned personnel must report to the Housing Office upon arrival as instructed in their PCS orders. Current information on quarters availability and off post housing may be obtained at the Housing Office. Please contact the Housing Office Inquiries concerning housing should be directed to the Commander, Carlisle Barracks, ATTN: ATZE-DPW-H, Carlisle, PA 17013-5002. The Housing Office telephone number is 717-245-4017, and DSN 312-242-4017. Newly assigned personnel may call with any the Housing Office with any questions concerning family quarters.
Carlisle Barracks has government housing for a total of 321 families. Quarters range in style from multi-unit apartment complexes to single-unit homes.
Application and Eligibility
Quarters are assigned to permanent party personnel when the military sponsor is physically present and has signed in for duty at the Carlisle Barracks. War College students receive designated quarters prior to their arrival based on the Student Billeting Plan for their class.
Housing Referral Office-(HRO)--Your POC for any problems you may encounter (discrimination complaints, tenant/landlord disputes, or any questions/problems about off-post housing) is the HRO. Staff are available to assist you on a person-to-person basis in any way possible to make your move to this installation an easy and pleasant one.They can provide a list of rentals with corresponding locator maps and give you information regarding the area in which the facilities are located.
