Carlisle Barracks no longer has one consolidated Civilian Personnel Advisory Center that handles the installation’s hiring. This has become decentralized with different Army Civilian Human Resources Agency centers handling USAWC, The USAG, Dunham and the NAF employees. If you are interested in employment at Carlisle Barracks, please go to the USAJOBS website and search for jobs at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania or just Carlisle, Pennsylvania. There are possible other Appropriated Fund employers in New Cumberland Army Depot, Letterkenny Depot, Defense Logistics Agency, Recruiting Commands, and the Military Entrance Processing Station, and ROTC Commands.

The Army Community Service Employment Readiness Program Specialist can assist with your job search, resumes, information for on and off post employment opportunities. Please contact 571-821-7509 for more information.

The Employment Readiness Program includes the following services:

• Individual job and career assistance and counseling are available by appointment for military Spouses.
• Various employment topic trainings and classes are offered throughout the year in-person and virtually.
• Spouses are encouraged to contact the Spouse Education and Career Opportunities center at 800-342-9647 for assistance. The center is staffed by certified career counselors.

The Transition Assistance Program

Training is offered every month here at Carlisle Barracks for those individuals (military and civilian) voluntarily or involuntarily departing the military.

To register for workshops, call 571-821-7931, 520-673-7657, 717-962-5342 or Retirement Services at 520-673-7817. The Main TAP office is located in Building 46, 46 Ashburn Drive and the TAP classroom (where the TAP seminar is held) is in Building 842 to the left of the Commissary, next to the Navy Federal Credit Union and the Leisure Travel office.

The Carlisle Barracks Education Center will be closed beginning on June 16th and will be relocating to building 842. The new space is not completed yet so we will temporarily reside in buildings 46 and 842.
