There are no temporary lodging facilities on Defense Logistics Agency McNamara Headquarters Complex; however, Fort Belvoir has temporary lodging that is available to DLA military and Department of Defense civilian employees, and there are a number of hotels near DLA. Fort Belvoir Billeting has transitioned to Fort Belvoir IHG Army Hotels. Reservations may be made by calling 703-704-8600 or on the web. The reservations office is open 24/7.
Eligibility
On Post Temporary Lodging
IHG Army Hotels operates the temporary housing on Fort Belvoir: Holiday Inn Express - Knadle Hall, Building 470, 9775 Gaillard Road and the Staybridge Suites, Building 1208, 9215 Woodbury Road. Military personnel and DOD civilian employees are eligible to stay in Fort Belvoir temporary lodging. Reservations for temporary duty and permanent change of station personnel are accepted 24 hours a day up to six months in advance of arrival. PCS reservations are made for up to 14 days initially, with the possibility of extending to 30 days if space allows. Each facility has a pet policy; check the IHG website for details. Off Post Temporary Lodging
Most hotels in the surrounding area offer government rates. Be sure to ask for government rates when making reservations. In addition to hotels, there are many corporate lodging facilities that rent furnished apartments on a monthly basis. Many hotels and corporate lodging facilities allow pets.

There are no lodging facilities on DLA McNamara Headquarters Complex; however, temporary lodging for military service members and DOD civilian personnel is available on Fort Belvoir. Fort Belvoir lodging has transitioned to IHG Army Hotels located in Knadle Hall, Building 470, 9775 Gaillard Road, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. Directions to Fort Belvoir IHG Army Hotels: Traveling north or south on I-95 take exit 166A (Fort Belvoir Newington and stay on VA 7100 (Fairfax County Parkway) going east until it ends at U.S. 1 (Richmond Highway). At the traffic light make a left (north) onto U.S. 1 (Richmond Highway). Stay to the right and at the first traffic light turn right (east) onto Pohick Road. Follow road to Tully Gate.
Stay on Pohick Road. This will become 12th Street. Continue through the first and second lights (Theote Road and Gunston Road). At the third light, turn right onto Belvoir Road (a chapel is on the left corner). Stay on Belvoir Road through the first traffic light (16th Street). Turn left onto 18th Street. 18th Street will “Y”, stay to the right. Do not go down the hill. Knadle Hall, Building 470, is a five-story building located on the left.
Anyone entering Fort Belvoir is required to clear the security checkpoint. Please make sure to have proper identification, registration and/or rental car contract available.
