Deployment can be a challenging phase of the military lifecycle, but it’s important to know that you don’t have to go through it alone. The military provides a variety of resources and support programs — ranging from educational briefings to morale calls — for your loved ones, children and service members to ease the stress of deployment. Military members may be assigned to a specific installation but support may come from local communities, Yellow Ribbon events or the installation itself.

Military OneSource
Military OneSource is a free support service provided by the War Department. Military OneSource offers assistance and resources to service members and their families on many different issues. Military OneSource supplements existing installation services, provides free help and information online or by phone with a professionally-trained consultant on a wide range of issues that affect you and your family. Military OneSource helps you save time and money by researching your questions, supplying solid, reliable information and providing valuable services.
Military OneSource is provided to active duty, Reserve and National Guard personnel and their family members regardless of their active status in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force. Deployed DOW civilians and their families may use Military OneSource while deployed and for up to six months upon return.
Use Military OneSource to seek help early before a minor problem turns into a major one. The Military OneSource team of experienced consultants can assist with addressing multiple concerns simultaneously, all within the privacy of your home.
