Upon arrival, members report to their respective Commander's Support Staff (CSS) for in-processing. Unit CSS will assist with mandatory appointments including signing member up to attend Newcomer's Orientation, which is currently held every 2nd/4th Thursdays at The Landings. Attendees need to be in seat NLT 0730 to sign in. Spouses/significant others are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED and WELCOMED to attend! Members should go to Military Personnel Section (MPS) if they do not have a CSS or they are having problems with their common access card.
If you get married before you make your PCS move, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing for your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures. You will need to update your and their information in the DEERS site. Please stop by the Military Processing Section (MPS) for assistance.
