The Military and Family Support Center is one part of a larger network of agencies, programs, services, partnerships and individuals that supports your personal and family readiness. The larger system called the Military Family Readiness System is a web of support for you and your family. The Military and Family Support Center should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation. The programs and services they offer are a key resource for you and your family.
The Federal Voting Assistance Program works to ensure that Service members, their eligible family members, and overseas citizens are aware of their right to vote and have the tools and resources to successfully do so - from anywhere in the world. Voting absentee is an easy two-step process: 1) register to vote and request your absentee ballot, and 2) vote and return your absentee ballot.
Elections in the U.S. are run by states, territories, and the District of Columbia. The Voting Assistance Guide, as well as the continually updated information at FVAP.gov, provides the state-specific election dates, deadlines, guidance, and contact information required to vote absentee. Select your state to find your local election office’s contact information. Register and request your absentee ballot using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA). If you do not receive your state absentee ballot in time to return it to your election office by the state deadline, use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB). Voting forms are available online.
For more information, please review the FVAP.gov website or contact the Military and Family Readiness Center's Installation Voting Assistance Officer.
