Youth Services Overview

A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development.  Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.

Goodfellow AFB has a Youth Center on the installation, with a full gym. The Youth Center offers many programs for our Goodfellow youth, including Leadership Clubs, 4-H Curriculum, and the Boys and Girls Club of America Core programs including the Arts, Fitness and Character Development.  We offer exciting camps at the program during school breaks. Sponsorship Program

The Youth Center offers many programs for our Goodfellow youth, including a Sponsorship Program for inbound and outbound youth. If you would like a youth sponsor, contact the Youth Center Staff at 325-654-4708 or via email: 17FSS.FSFY.YouthPrograms@us.af.mil.

Youth Center

Goodfellow AFB has a Youth Center on the installation. You may contact the Youth Center Director at 325-654-4708. The Center is currently open 3:00-6:00 pm on school days; and typically 12:30 am to 5:30 pm on full days.  Check our Facebook page for up to date information: Goodfellow Youth Programs.

Eligibility for the Youth Center is broken down by age and is as follows:

  • Children 9 years of age and older may become a Youth Center members, for a fee. 

Programs offered at the Youth Center include:

  • 4-H
  • Photography
  • Gardening
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Dramatic Arts
  • Leadership Clubs
  • Use of the Year (YOY)
  • Missoula Children's Theater- Professional theater company that comes and teaches youth how to put together a play, do the costuming and stage props and the acting.
  • Other activities offered at the Youth Center include Dance Lessons, Games, Field trips, Space Camp and Aviation Camp.

Following is a list of Boys and Girls Club of America programs that are available through the Goodfellow Youth Center:

  • Torch Club- 9-12 year olds; community service club
  • Keystone- 13-18 year olds; community service club
  • Smart Girls- Teaches girls 9-15 how to make positive choices
  • Passport to Manhood- Teaches boys 9-15 how to make positive choices
  • Power Hour- Homework Hour
  • Photography Contest (Annually in January and again in May)
  • Arts Contest (Annually in January)
  • Goals for Graduation- the youth make a commitment to their education
  • Tech World

We currently do not offer a Youth Sports Program at the Youth Center.
