A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The items available include dish packs (the set is in a bin) and cooking sets (also in a bin), and a limited number of coffee makers.
The Military and Family Readiness Center can be contacted at 325-654-3893. The staff maintains a loan closet in Building 145 across the street from the Taylor Chapel. Items may be checked out free for a 30-day period with a copy of permanent change of station orders into or out of Goodfellow Air Force Base. Students may renew their loan items in 30-day increments for the duration of their training at Goodfellow. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Closed the third Thursday for training from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The M&FRC is closed on all federal holidays and resiliency days.
