Programs and services are available at most installations for children up to age 12. Care may be provided in Child Development Centers, School Age Care Programs, and Family Child Care Homes. Please review the information to find out what programs and services are available at this installation. Please contact the Child and Youth Program point of contact at this installation if you require information, assistance or resources for child care in your local community.
The CDC offers full daycare for children six weeks through Pre kindergarten. Fees and charges are based on total family income. Spaces at the CDC are limited and certain age groups may have a waiting list. Waiting periods vary from 2 weeks to a month depending on availability of slots.
An alternative to the Center-based Program is Child Development Homes (CDH). Providers in this program are trained and licensed under the guidance of our Family Child Care Coordinator. Care is available for infants 6 weeks old to school age children. A current listing of licensed FDC homes is available at CDC and is always obtainable at the CDC, School Age Center (SAC) and the Family Support Center.
Family Child Care Providers are available on Andersen AFB. Hours of care are dependent on who is providing the care. The Military & Family Readiness Center has a list of Family Child Care Providers. For further assistance, please call the FCC Coordinator at 671-480-8793.
The Child Development Center is temporarily located in Building 1601 Plumeria Blvd and can be reached at 671-366-3490/91/92. The Child Development Center is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Hours of operation are from 6 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Mon-Fri. Closed on Sundays and federal holidays.
Programs Offered
The CDC offers full-day care for children six weeks through Pre-K.
Childcare for Permanent Chance of Station (PCS) is an Air Force Aid childcare program and is available for certain incoming and outgoing families. Contact the Military and Family Readiness Center at 671-366-8136 for more information.
Mandatory Registration
You will need to bring a current shot record to register your child(ren) in our programs. In addition, your current LES for you and your spouse (a copy will do) and/or a statement concerning other income you may have, is needed to enroll in our program.
You may have your child(ren) placed on the waiting list prior to your arrival by having your sponsor drop by the center and complete a DD Form 2606. You will also need a copy of orders and the birth date of each child.

A Before/After School program for children who attend school, is offered by the School Age Program (SAP). Located in Bldg 1605 Santa Rosa Blvd, 671-366-1640. Hours of operation Mon- Fri 6 a.m.-6 p.m. closed on weekends and federal holidays. SAP is fully accredited by the Counsel of Accreditation (COA).
Before and After School Care for children ages K-12 years of age.
Full day programs are available during summer and school break and non-school days/teacher's in service days. This program is affiliated with Boys and Girls Clubs of American and 4-H programs.
