Relocation assistance can provide support if you’re preparing to move or PCS. The programs and services defined below are provided by the Military and Family Support Center. In addition to the assistance program, a variety of other services may be available. Check the additional information topic to see what unique installation services are available to you.
If you are approaching a permanent change of station, or PCS, you may have questions about your upcoming move. As part of the Military and Family Support Center, the Relocation Assistance Program provides services and resources to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Below is a list of resources.
The Airman and Family Readiness Center has a Loan Locker available for newcomers to use. There are TVs, DVD players, dishes, pots and pans, microwaves and many other items. The Loan Locker hours are Monday-Friday, 1-4 p.m., except holidays and family down days.
Spouse/newcomer's orientation is offered every other month and is a great way to learn about Andersen Air Force Base's services and Guam's unique culture. All permanent change of station Air Force personnel can receive 20 hours of free day care per child. For more information about A&FRC programs, call 671-366-8136 or DSN 315-366-8136.
Installation Specific Information
PCS Child Care – All incoming and outgoing Air Force military personnel can receive 20 hours of free child care, sponsored by the Air Force Aid Society.
Sponsorship Program – All incoming personnel to Andersen AFB are required to have a sponsor to facilitate their relocation to Guam. You will be contacted by someone from your unit or you may choose to contact your gaining unit to request a sponsor.
