Legal assistance is available to you and your family. Below, you’ll find information about claims and installation specific programs and services. If you have questions, reach out to the legal assistance program at your installation.

The Navy Legal Service Office is located in Building S-455, 1st floor.
Services offered by appointment are General Power of Attorney (GPOA) and Special Power of Attorney (SPOA), notary services, some legal advice in regard to adoption and divorce for active-duty Service members and their dependents. These services can be accessed by active-duty, family members of active-duty, reservists on active duty for single periods of 29 days or less and their family members. Retirees and their family members may be assisted with outside resources. Members that are activated as mobs and demobs for more than 30 days and their family members.
Household Goods Claims Services
The purpose of this service is to recover monies from the carriers related to damaged or missing household goods. Military families are encouraged to maintain receipts.
