Redstone Arsenal has one main commissary and one post exchange located on Acton Drive.
Several shops exist in various tenant organizations.
NASA hosts a food coral during lunch hours available to all who have access to post on Martin Road across from the Garrison HQs, Building 4488.
Two Class VI shops are available; one on Goss and one on Martin road.
Army Community Service is located at Building 3443, Aerobee Road or call 256-876-5397.
The Family Advocacy Program assists soldiers and their families by providing quality family enrichment services and support. Services include the New Parent Support Program (NPSP), stress management training, MRT, and Victim Advocacy.
The NPSP serves military families by providing parenting information, support, and home visits to expectant parents and parents with children ages 3 and younger.
A domestic violence Victim Advocate is available 24/7 at 256-508-6613.
The Exceptional Family Member Program provides on/off post community special needs resources and referrals, including the Department of the Army EFMP Respite Care Program, support group information, education and training workshops and special needs assessment for on-post child/youth programs.
Financial Readiness offers financial counseling, debt management, credit report analysis and free credit scores for clients. Financial workshops and counseling are provided by a certified financial program manager.
Army Emergency Relief provides emergency financial assistance in the form of interest-free loans or grants to active-duty soldiers, military retirees, military survivors and their families when there is an emergency need. The Survivor Outreach Service Program provides outreach to survivors of active-duty deaths to connect family members with people and resources that can help throughout the grieving process.
The Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program provides victim advocacy and training to build a culture of intervention and heightened awareness. The Redstone Arsenal SHARP office also provides a well-coordinated and highly responsive, 24/7 Victim Advocacy Program. Employment Readiness resume writing and Federal employment classes are available one time per month. Call for current dates and times.
