When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
In-processing West Point installation procedures are as follows:
All Soldiers are required to sign in to their respective unit of assignment first then they must report to the Military Personnel Division, 622 Swift Road to be issued an installation in-processing checklist. No appointment is required to in-process units or Military Personnel Division.
All personnel in-processing must have a copy of their PCS orders assigning them to new unit (to include all amendments if applicable) and their original DA Form 31 (Leave Form) with the departure block (block 14 a, b, & c) signed by your losing command. In addition to the above listed items, Soldiers being assigned to USA MEDDAC (KACH) will need a copy of your latest evaluation report (officers and NCO's).
UNIT SPECIFIC SIGNING IN PROCEDURES:
USMA HHC
All officers and enlisted Soldiers with orders assigning them to the US Military Academy Staff and Faculty and 2nd Aviation Detachment, must first sign in to HHC USMA.
To sign in during normal operations:
Report to HHC USMA no later than the last day of approved PCS leave/PTDY, located in Bldg 626, Room 103, in duty uniform with a copy of completed PCS leave form & orders.
Duty hours for in-processing are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed weekends and Federal Holidays.
If arriving outside of duty hours, report to the West Point Provost Martial Office at 616 Swift Road to be signed in by the Desk Sergeant. Then report to HHC, USMA on the next duty day.

USA MEDDAC (Keller Army Community Hospital)
All personnel arriving during duty hours will report to building 662 Eichelberger Road. S-1 is located on the first floor, room 1. If you arrive after duty hours and want to sign in off of leave, please see the Keller Army Community Hospital, Staff Duty officer, 845-938-5169, located in the main lobby of the hospital, Bldg. 900, then report to S-1 by 9 a.m. the next duty day. Contact the Medical Company at 845-938-3261/2508 or the S-1 at 845-938-4406/5244 if you have additional questions or require assistance.
DENTAC (Saunders Dental Clinic)
All DENTAC personnel arriving during duty hours will report to Saunders Dental Clinic, Keller Army Community Hospital, Bldg. 900 (1st floor/Multi Specialty Clinic). Soldiers arriving after duty hours must report to the Staff Duty Officer, Keller Army Community Hospital, Bldg. 900. TEL: 845 938-5169
USMA Band
Newly assigned personnel with USMA Band will report to the Band Building, 685 Rogers Place, during duty hours. After duty hours call USMA Band Administration Section at 845-938-1338 and leave a contact address and phone number. Immediately call the Duty NCO. Tel: 845-705-0929.
United States Army Garrison & Military Police Company
Newly assigned personnel arriving during duty hours will report to Bldg. 626, Swift Road, 0900-1600. USAG/MP Company Soldiers arriving after duty hours must report to the Provost Marshall's Office/Military Police Desk Sergeant, Bldg. 616. Tel: 845-938-3333.
All Soldiers, upon sign-in with their respective areas, will report to the Military Personnel Division or MPD, Bldg. 622, Monday through Friday to receive the in-processing briefing at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. (Please note MPD is closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of every month for training.)
