Army Community Service Relocation Readiness Program
One of the first stops when you arrive at West Point should be Army Community Service's Relocation Readiness Program (RRP) office. We can provide additional information and updates that have been designed to help you upon arrival. The Lending Closet is also available to all those on permanent change of station orders to and from West Point. RRP will answer your questions and remain just a call or email away as you relocate to the beautiful Hudson Valley.
Services offered include:
Using Services Offered by RRP office
You do not have to have your orders to be eligible to use RRP services. Some examples of customers utilizing RRP services include newly married soldiers, families completing a PCS for the first time, soldiers preparing for an overseas assignment or deployment, a job possibility at another installation, retirement and or transition into the civilian work force. The RRP staff will research and prepare the information to meet the customer's needs. RRP personnel can provide printouts and other information to assist the soldier and his/her family members in their transition. The intent is to assist the single soldier, married soldier, family members and Department of Defense civilians in becoming knowledgeable about the relocation process and to aid in their planning.
