If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.

The West Point Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) can be reached at 845-938-5657 during duty hours.
The West Point Sexual Assault Hotline, 845-659-7467 can be reached 24/7 by phone or by text.
Should you experience a medical emergency in transit, call 911 immediately or visit the nearest hospital emergency room.
All Soldiers, upon sign-in with their respective areas, will report to the Military Personnel Division or MPD, building 622 Monday through Friday to receive the in-processing briefing at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.
The housing and finance offices will not in-process newly arrived soldiers without the in-processing checklist issued by MPD. Please be sure to have a copy of your orders (to include all amendments) and your absence request form (leave form).
Most units/departments will have their internal in-processing requirements but MPD is the only organization that issues installation in-processing checklists.
*MPD is closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Thursday every month for training.
Soldiers with orders assigning them to United States Military Academy Military Police Company or United States Army Garrison will report to building 616 between 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. hours. Tel: 845-938-3333.
Soldiers arriving after duty hours must report to PMO Military Police Desk Sergeant in Building 616.

The American Red Cross (ARC) is available to assist in emergency situations, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to include holidays.
One of the fundamental missions of the American Red Cross is to keep the American people in touch with their loved ones in the Armed Forces during times of family crisis. The Red Cross assists military families with urgent messages related to serious illness, death, or the birth of a child. All messages are verified by the Red Cross.

USMA HHC
All officers and enlisted soldiers with orders assigning them to the US Military Academy Staff, or USMA, and Faculty and 2nd Aviation Detachment, must first sign in to HHC USMA.
Report to HHC USMA no later than the last day of approved PCS leave/PTDY, located in Bldg. 626, in duty uniform with a copy of completed PCS leave form & orders.
Duty hours for in-processing are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed weekends and federal holidays.
If arriving outside of duty hours, report to the West Point Provost Martial Office at 616 Swift Road to be signed in by the Desk Sergeant. Then report to HHC, USMA on the next duty day.
If unable to physically report on your designated report date, contact HHC, USMA by email at hhcmailbox@westpoint.edu or call 845-938-2223.
Newly assigned personnel with U.S. Military Academy Band will report to the Band Building, Bldg. 685, Rogers Place, during duty hours.
After duty hours call USMA Band Administration Section at 845-938-1338 and leave a contact address and phone number. Immediately call the duty non-commissioned officer at 845-705-0929.
All personnel arriving during duty hours will report to building 662 Eichelberger Road. S-1 is located on the first floor, room 1.
After duty hours to sign in off of leave, please see the Staff Duty Officer, Keller Army Community Hospital, Bldg. 900, located in the main lobby. Then report to S-1 by 9 a.m. the next duty day. Contact the Medical Company at 845-938-3261/2508 or the S-1 at 845-938-7974/5244 if you have additional questions or require assistance.
All Army Dental Activity, or DENTAC, personnel arriving during duty hours will report to Saunders Dental Clinic, Keller Army Community Hospital, Bldg. 900.
After duty hours, report to the Staff Duty officer, Keller Army Community Hospital, Bldg. 900. Tel: 845-938-5169.
If you experience an emergency en-route to the United States Military Academy at West Point be sure to reach out to the appropriate point of contact to discuss the nature of your emergency.
Remember, if you are unable to arrive on your reporting date and you do not call, you could be considered absent without leave, or AWOL. *Note your losing command still maintains authority over you while you are en-route.

Army Emergency Relief (AER) is a private, non-profit organization incorporated in 1942 by the secretary of war and Army chief of staff. AER's mission is to provide emergency financial assistance. AER distributes financial assistance to Soldiers of all ranks on behalf of the United States Army. Assistance is provided as an interest-free loan, grant or a combination of both. Applications for emergency assistance are available through the AER office located at the Army Community Service building, 622 Swift Road, West Point. For further details contact the West Point AER office, 845-938-5654/2519/4621, or the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Service Center at 877-272-7337, and select option 1 for financial assistance. Direct access to AER assistance is available in most situations and may not require command involvement
Remember to hand carry your important documents with you. Hand carried documents should include ID cards, drivers license, passports, birth certificates, marriage license, immunization records, copies of your orders and your absence request form signed out by your losing unit. Do not ship these important documents in your house hold goods or unaccompanied baggage.
It is also recommended that you have the telephone numbers of your losing and gaining commander and sponsor readily available.
