Child Care

The Garmisch CYS, Child & Youth Services, offers programs and services for children and youth ages 6 weeks - 18 years. All of the programs are certified by the Department of Defense.  For more information call Parent Central Services  011-49-8821-750-2284.

Child Development Services is comprised of three delivery systems, the Child Development Center, Family Child Care, and School Age Care.

Child Development Center

Services Offered: Full-day childcare is available for currently enrolled full-time patrons based upon the Department of Defense Priorities. Care is available for patrons in Categories 1 and 2. 

New patrons to the community should request care via www.militarychildcare.com and email Parent Central Services at: usarmy.garmisch.imcom-fmwrc.list.cys-info@mail.mil to register their children with CYS.  

Hours of Operation: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday 

School Age Care 

The SAC is located in Building 723, Breitenau Housing Area.  For more information, please call 011-49-8221-750-2684 or DSN 314-440-2684. 

The SAC provides the following services: 

• Before school and after school
• School closures
• Seasonal and holiday school breaks
• Summer Camp
• Hourly Care

Children have access to computer labs and can receive help on daily homework assignments. Programs are nationally accredited and utilize standard curricula through formal partnerships with nationally-recognized organizations such as 4-H and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
