Youth Services

Fort Bliss Youth Services programs aim to provide a safe and healthy environment for education, exercise and enjoyment. We offer escort services to and from selected schools. Ask about our calendar of scheduled events for Fridays and Saturdays.

Youth Sponsorship Program

Youth sponsors connect with children before arrival at a new duty station, provide them with information about their new communities and answer questions from a youth perspective while being guided by adults in the CYS Youth Program and the schools.

Once you arrive, a youth sponsor will meet your child and can arrange community and school tours.

If you're preparing for a permanent change of station move, contact your School Liaison Officer at 915-569-5064 today to sign up for a youth sponsor.

Eligibility

This program is open to incoming youth who will be matched with a sponsor to help them settle in and get familiar with the area.

Student Website

The Replica Youth Center maintains a student website managed by youth volunteers. Any registered youth in grades 6th through 12th interested in web page design can participate in the maintenance and creation of web pages.

Summer Camps

Youth Centers offer weekly summer camps for teens aged 6th to 12th grade. Camps run from 8 a.m. to noon and are designed to fuel your child's interests. For more information, please call the Youth Centers or visit our website.

Youth Sports and Fitness Program

The Fort Bliss Youth Sports and Fitness Program is a unique program that offers a fitness component. Sports are offered for different age groups, starting from 3 years old.

• Registration requirements: CYS registration and sports physical must be current to participate in sports events.
• Physical Education classes: Available for home-schooled students.
• Youth fitness classes: Free for youth ages 10 through 12th grade. Waiver required to participate.
