Deployment can be a challenging phase of the military lifecycle, but it’s important to know that you don’t have to go through it alone. The military provides a variety of resources and support programs — ranging from educational briefings to morale calls — for your loved ones, children and service members to ease the stress of deployment. Military members may be assigned to a specific installation but support may come from local communities, Yellow Ribbon events or the installation itself.
Mobilization, Deployment & Support Stability Operations is here to:
Provide assistance to Family members, Rear Detachment commanders and Family Readiness Groups throughout the deployment cycle. By providing guidance, resources and training for Soldier Family Readiness Group Volunteer Leaders, Command Family Readiness Representative, Soldier Family Readiness Group Key Contacts and Fund Custodians, unit Casualty and Response (CARE) Teams, Master Resiliency Training for spouses and Rear Detachment Commanders. Support deploying units by providing pre-deployment briefings, deploying flight support, information and materials to soldiers and Family members.
Offers support to Families who are living separately from their sponsors due to mission (i.e., deployment, unaccompanied tour, extended TDY, etc.) requirements. The program offers events and services to help make life a little less stressful during separations. Participants will have an opportunity to attend social activities, educational workshops, and to meet and share with other families. Family members are eligible to participate in Hearts Apart activities 30 days prior to, during and 90 days after effective date of orders.
