Amenities
Coffee, tea, and condiments are provided for your enjoyment free of charge. Your housekeeper will replenish them daily. There is also complimentary coffee and hot chocolate provided in the lobby at VQ.
Business Center located in the lobby of the VQ & Bayview for guests to access the Internet and print. There is also wireless Internet connection available. Local or DSN fax service is available at the front desk at no cost.
Laundry rooms are free to all guests. Laundry detergent is available for purchase from the coin operated machine in the laundry rooms or from the front desk.
Fitness Rooms available in Bayview Towers/TLF and VQ.
Mail
Personnel staying a short period of time should have mail addressed to and picked up at General Delivery. The mailroom is located adjacent to the Eagle Room Dining Facility. General delivery address is:

For safety and security, please register with the front desk all vehicles including RVs, large trailers, and boats. Parking placards will be given to you to display in/on the vehicle.

Reservations
Reservations can be made 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, by dialing 757-969-5775.
Room Accommodations: The General Smalls Inn has six General Officer Suites, 6 DVQ Suites, 18 Family Suites, six of which are Pet-Friendly, and 304 Single rooms.
Disability Accommodations: The General Smalls Inn has six rooms that are configured for disabled persons.
Free Laundry Facilities: A laundry room is located on each floor, and a coin operated laundry on the first floor, in addition to the Post coin operated laundry.
Suites
All suites include living room, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms, furnished with a telephone, television, internet access capabilities, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and queen size bed.
Standard Room
Double occupancy rooms furnished with a telephone, television, DVD player, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, queen size bed. Some rooms may have microwaves.
Extended Stay Room (TLF)
All rooms are furnished with a telephone, television, DVD player, high speed internet access capabilities, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, single bath, queen size bed.

The Inn also has a Playground, a Fitness Room, and a Business Center which you may access with your Guest Room key.
Lost and Found
If you notice you have forgotten some personal belongings after departure, you may contact the Lost and Found office at 757-878-1379 or DSN 312-927-1379. If the item is found, and you request to have the item mailed, postal charges will be assessed to you.

This is a tobacco free facility.
The General Smalls Inn will not accept personal guest mail. Guests are encouraged to contact the Fort Eustis Post Office at 878-2418 or the company that you are attached to while you are here to inquire about a general delivery or mailbox.

Temporary quarters range in price for on post billeting. The Price range (per night) for the General Smalls Inn is $89 - $96.00 (Source: General Small Inn).
If you were to be billeted off post the price range varies from $100 to $150 per night.
Pet Friendly On-Post Temporary Lodging
Langley Inn offers pet friendly TLFs. In addition to the regular TLF rate, guests with pets will be charged an additional $10 per night. Pets are allowed in Pet Friendly TLF units only. The standard is two pets (dogs & cats) per unit. Make arrangements as soon as possible as there are limited units available. Guests must provide a valid copy of the pets' shot records at check-in. If you are unable to secure a pet-friendly room, Langley Inns has a list of nearby kennels. Non-availability slips will not be given when regular TLF units are available.
Fort Eustis General Smalls Inn offers 6 pet-friendly rooms. In addition to the regular TLF rate, guests with pets will be charged an additional $10 per night. Kennel facilities are not available on post.
Joint Base Langley-Eustis (Langley) - Langley Inn, 70 Nealy Ave., 757-764-4667 Langley is in the city of Hampton on the Virginia Peninsula. The community surrounding the base is known as Hampton Roads.
Directions: Traveling Southeast from Richmond on Interstate 64 -- If you are traveling southeast from Richmond on Interstate 64 East to Langley, merge onto US-258 (Mercury Boulevard) via exit 263B and travel 2.1 miles. From the right lane, merge onto VA 167 East (LaSalle Avenue) and the base gate will be straight ahead.
Traveling Northeast from the James River Bridge -- If you are traveling northeast from the James River Bridge via U.S. Route 17/258, take West Mercury Boulevard to LaSalle Avenue.
Traveling North from Norfolk -- If traveling north from Norfolk, take I-64 West through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel to Exit 265B and turn right onto LaSalle Ave.
Traveling to Hampton from Emporia (I-95) -- If you are approaching Hampton traveling from Emporia (I-95), take US-58 E for about 66 miles. Merge onto I-64 East/Hampton Roads via Exit 1B toward Norfolk/Virginia Beach. Shortly thereafter, take Exit 265C toward Langley Air Force Base. Turn right onto Rip Rap Road then take a slight right onto Armistead Avenue, and another short right onto LaSalle Avenue.
Traveling South on Hwy 17 -- If you are traveling south on Hwy 17, continue until you reach I-64. Take the interstate east until you exit at Armistead Avenue (north) and then to LaSalle Avenue.

From Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport or from Norfolk International Airport, take I-64 west to Exit 250A Fort Eustis Boulevard (Route 105). Proceed west on Fort Eustis Boulevard until you come to the main gate. From the main gate, you will be on Washington Avenue. Make the first left onto Madison Avenue, across the median. Proceed down Madison and General Smalls Inn is on your left.
If there are no rooms available when you call the General Smalls Inn, they can provide a list of hotels that offer prices within government rates through a memorandum of agreement. Call the General Smalls Inn for more details.
Directions from I-95 and points west (Richmond), take I-64 East to Exit 250A, Fort Eustis Boulevard (Route 105) and proceed west about a mile and you will enter Fort Eustis.
From south on Hwy 17, continue until you reach Fort Eustis Boulevard. This will lead you directly into Fort Eustis.
Both Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis offer billeting facilities for our personnel.

Langley Inn offers Distinguished Visitors Quarters (DVQ), Visiting Quarters (VQ), and Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF). Lodging also welcomes guests on a space available basis.

All space available guests are required to pay in advance with cash, check, or credit card. If on official travel and using a credit card, charges will be processed at check out or after each 15 days of occupancy, whichever comes first. All rooms are non-smoking.
Space-Available Reservations
Langley Inn offers space available reservations, however, all customers PCSing or on TDY have priority over all other customers.
Pets

Joint Base Langley-Eustis (Fort Eustis)
Fort Eustis' billeting facility, the General Smalls Inn, houses unaccompanied TDY personnel, PCS families and official visitors. There are 357 rooms: 6 pet friendly, 6 TLF (family rooms), 6 General Officer Suites, 6 Distinguished Visitor, or DV suites (E9s and O5+), 6 ADA accessible rooms, and the remaining rooms are single occupancy for both enlisted and officers.
Reservations can be made by calling 757-878-5807/5775 or DSN 312-826-5807/5775 or going online. All personnel should report to Building 2110 on Pershing Avenue for registration. The General Smalls Inn accepts reservations for all military duty personnel in a permanent change of station or temporary duty assignment status, Department of Defense civilians attending conferences, hospital visitors, disabled Veterans, and sponsored guests (on a space available status). Reservations are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Reservation availability is based on both priority and on a first-come, first-served basis. Check-in time is after 2 p.m.; check-out time is 11 a.m.
Eligibility/Orders/Registration
Personnel planning to arrive at Langley or Fort Eustis on official status (TDY or PCS orders) are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible to increase their chances of obtaining temporary quarters. Bring a copy of your orders with you when you arrive.
Advance Reservations: PCS reservations can be made one year in advance. For TDY or other official training, reservations may be made up to six months in advance.

Guests traveling for leisure (not on official orders) who are eligible to stay in government lodging may request reservations up to 7 days advance during low season. During peak season, it is availability only.
Availability/Length of Stay
Inbound personnel on official orders may be allowed to stay for an initial period of 30 days. This may be extended to 90 days, on a case-by-case basis.
Rates
All rooms must be reserved by credit card in advance of stay. If guests are “no-shows,” the card on file will be charged a fee daily rate

Check-In
All guests arriving after 6 p.m. must guarantee their reservations with a valid credit card. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure a valid credit card is given to hold the room after 6 p.m. Guests will be charged a no-show fee if reservations are not canceled by midnight on the expected arrival date.
Fort Eustis’ General Smalls Inn offers pet-friendly rooms. Kennel facilities are not available on post.
All rooms are provided with a television, telephones, and refrigerators. Some BOQ/VOQ rooms may also have microwaves. All TLF rooms are equipped with a small kitchen facility and dining area. Each facility has free washers and dryers.
