Temporary Housing

Pikes Peak Lodge or the lodging office is the first point of contact for most people arriving on temporary duty or permanent change of station. Lodging has temporary lodging facility units that primarily serve families who are PCSing to Peterson Space Force Base, Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station or Schriever Space Force Base. All TLF units have fully equipped kitchens and sleeping accommodations for up to five persons. There are visitors’ quarters, visiting Airmen's and Guardian's quarters, and business suites. All quarters are non-smoking.

Pets

There are pet-friendly TLF rooms. Contact the Peterson Lodging Office for reservations. Certain restrictions do apply. Please keep in mind that summer breaks and spring breaks are very busy vacation periods in Colorado Springs. There is a fenced dog park close to temporary accommodations.

Rates

The approved lodging rates for June 2022- May 2023 are below:

• Visitors’ Quarters -- $130 per night (Jun 01 - Aug 31); $90 per night (Sept 01 - May 31)
• Visiting Enlisted Quarters -- $115 per night (Jun 01 - Aug 31); $75 per night (Sept 01 - May 31)
• Temporary Lodging Facilities (all sizes) -- $139 per night (June 01 - Aug 31); $99 per night (Sept 01 - May 31)
• Business Suites -- $139 per night (June 01- Aug 31); $99 per night (Sept 01 - May 31)
• Large Business Suites -- $140 per night (June 01 - Aug 31) ; $100 per night (Sept 01- May 31)

Length of Stay

PCSing out, separating and retiring members are limited to a 10-day stay, depending on available space. Newcomers to Peterson SFB will be given reservations, depending upon availability, for up to 30 nights. Extended stays are new reservations and can be approved only on a space-available basis. Space A reservations may be made for retirees and members not on orders based on occupancy percentages, for five days at a time.
