You may be expecting your first baby or busy with a toddler. That probably means you have your hands full, and may have questions. Thankfully, help is at hand.
The New Parent Support Program is a free service that helps military parents, including expectant parents, transition successfully into parenthood and provide a nurturing environment for their children. Services vary, but may include home visits, parenting classes, playgroups or prenatal classes.
The New Parent Support Program is a team made up of nurses, social workers and home visitation specialists who offer support and guidance by helping parents:

New Parent Support Program staff are child development professionals, including registered nurses, clinical social workers, and para-professionals trained in the delivery and practice of established home visiting models. The program is supervised and monitored at the installation level by the Family Advocacy program manager.
The program is available to military families who are expecting a baby or have children age 3 or younger. Marine Corps eligibility includes families with at least one child under 5.

Home Visitation
A voluntary program offering services to help expectant and all military parents meet their challenging roles as mother, father and family. Call the Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN) to schedule a visit.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
4th Thursday of each month 3:00 - 4:30 PM at the Peterson Chapel
Open to all military branches
Learn about: reasons to choose breastfeeding, common positions for breastfeeding, proper latch on, how to identify problem situations early, choosing a breast pump, storage and collection, and going back to work.

Heart to Heart Military Breastfeeding Support
4 location: USAFA,PSFB,SSFB, Ft Carson
Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Get your answers and support from the FAN IBCLC Lactation Nurse, find connections with other nursing moms.

Infant Massage
Prenatal- 3 months. Peterson SFB Chapel
Learn how to calm your infant, relieve pain and aid in better sleep, these are a few of the reason to engage in this fun activity. Infant massage classes can be scheduled individually if your infant is over 3 month. Call FAN to schedule.
Summer Stroller Walkers
Mondays at Peterson SFB 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Bundles for Babies Class
Offered at both Peterson/Schriever Space Force Base and the Air Force Academy through the Air Force Aid Society. Register today to receive a baby bundle, get information and education about parenting.
New Parent Support Program Orientation
Located at EACH Centering
This one-hour class, offered monthly, focuses on TRICARE, resources available in both the civilian and military communities, services through the New Parent Support Program and dental care for pregnant women.
