Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Peterson Space Force Base’s Relocation Assistance Program provides services to help make a quick and smooth adjustment, whether you are arriving or departing from the Colorado Springs area.
Right Start is a Newcomers’ Orientation offered by the Military & Family Readiness Center. It includes briefings from the Space Base Delta 1 Wing Commander, Base Emergency Readiness, Safety, Legal, Public Affairs, and many others. An information fair is offered from 9:10 to 9:30 a.m. for additional information. Call 719-556-6141 for dates and to sign up. Spouses are welcome!
In addition to your sponsor's information, there are maps, magazines, and local information available to assist in your settling in. Newcomer information can be obtained at the M&FRC, located in building 350, room 1203.
Child Care for PCS Program
All Active-duty Air Force and Space Force members, Air National Guard and Reserve members activated under Title 10, USC for more than 15 days with a PCS order, Air Force and Space Force members with retirement, Palace Chase, or separation orders, including those on the Temporary Disability Retires List (only eligible within 60 days at the departure location) are eligible. You will recieve $200 per dependent child up to age 12 (not to exceed $1,000 per household) to be used for any childcare option. Approved funds are deposited to you directly via Zelle or ACH. Employment Assistance
Individual assistance for spouses and family members is available to help obtain employment, career, and educational opportunities.
Resource Center
Computers with internet access, books, magazines, and numerous other resources are available for your use.
Air Force Aid Society
