Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Soldiers, civilian employees, and their Families arriving for duty at Fort Riley will want to visit Army Community Service. Assistance is available on Custer Hill, 7264 Normandy Drive. Army Community Service offers a variety of services and activities to assist transitioning Families and hosts a weekly 1st Infantry Division Victory Welcome and Newcomers Brief every Wednesday 1300 to 1600, except on Federal Holidays.
Installation Specific Information
The Relocation Readiness Program (RRP) supports All Military Personnel (active duty, Reserves, National Guard and retired), Department of Defense (DoD) civilians, and Family Members during relocation to or from Fort Riley and during deployment with incoming and outgoing briefings, welcome information for adults and youth, counseling, relocation guidance, Citizenship & Immigration, and a lending closet.
Relocation Readiness provides information to help make your next move go smoothly. The services are designed to help personnel, who have received orders for a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) [departing from and arriving to Fort Riley] and for those currently stationed at Fort Riley. You, our customer receive practical points and information on moving and referrals when needed.
Estimated Time of Separation (ETS) or Retiring personnel can ask for assistance in locating information about the area they will be traveling too.
