The Lending Locker is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially when waiting for their household goods delivery after a move. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation. Supplies temporary household goods (such as kitchen items) for families waiting for their household goods to arrive.

The Lending Locker hospitality kits are available to anyone who is making a permanent change of station move to or from Naval Submarine Base New London. unfortunately, It won't be bone china, Calphalon or plush bedding, but it will get you by until your own household goods are delivered or you hit the road for the next duty station. 

The bin contains items as follows:

Our Lending Locker is available to active-duty service members their families for an initial 14-day period. A loan agreement must be filled out by the service member or their spouse and they must present a valid identification card at the time of the initial request. The loan may be extended to a 30-day period if needed. Should delivery of your personal property be delayed beyond one month, you can extend the Lending Locker items for another 30 days.
